RISKDRIVING EDUCATION WILL CHANGE 1TH OF OCTOBER 2026
🚗 Driving licence legislation changes on 1 October 2026 – here's what you need to know!
If you're getting a Category B driving licence, please note the following changes:
✅ The mandatory Riskdriving education will increase from 8 to 12 hours.
✅ If you have not passed your driving test by 30 September 2026, your training must be completed according to the new requirements before you can take the driving test.
The training you have already completed will not be lost – previously completed training with equivalent content and hours can be credited towards the new requirements.
