Traffic Safety Training for Companies

As a company, you can take an important step to enhance your staff's safety by utilizing our traffic safety training. Our training combines theory and practice in a well-considered format.

At the Kvarken Traffic Safety Center, we have specially designed facilities that allow practical exercises as part of the theory section, where participants can see and experience various situations firsthand. On the driving practice track, we delve into the increasingly complex safety systems of vehicles and teach what we can do as drivers to avoid accidents. We practice in slippery conditions and challenge drivers’ risk thinking, always tailored to the driver's reality and under the supervision of experienced instructors.

Economical Driving Techniques

The economical driving techniques training package is aimed at businesses that want to educate their staff in fuel-efficient driving. The importance of economical driving is highlighted as fuel costs rise, and it also significantly impacts today’s climate change. Companies with their own vehicles can save both energy and the environment, but most importantly, substantial amounts of money by teaching their staff economical driving techniques.

We understand how important it is to maintain your driver's license! We see no reason to stop driving just because you are getting older. However, it is important to recognize that there comes a day when it is time to stop driving.

Are you among senior drivers and are questioning your driving skills, or are you a family member concerned about an older driver's safety? Feel free to reach out to us.

It is important to emphasize that you will not lose your driver's license. The purpose of the driving assessment is to provide a recommendation on whether you can continue driving, what improvements you could make, or if you should consider refraining from driving.

The driving assessment is conducted with the driving school’s car, equipped with dual controls for safety.

We offer both manual and automatic transmission vehicles, allowing you to choose the transmission type you prefer.

Police-Ordered or Doctor-Recommended Driving Tests

The police may require a driver to provide a medical certificate of driving fitness, a certificate of a new driving test, or a statement of driving ability from the driving test provider (Ajovarma) if necessary.

The purpose of the driving test is to ensure that the driver is familiar with traffic rules and can drive safely in traffic. The test is conducted with a vehicle approved for driving instruction by the driving test provider (Ajovarma).

We offer driving lessons for test preparation and vehicle rental for the driving test.

The driver's license law changed on July 1, 2018. Risk training replaces the practice and advanced phases starting from July 1, 2018. You have 2 years to complete the risk training after passing the driving test if the test was successfully completed before July 1, 2018.

The training focuses on:

• Developing skills for driving in difficult conditions
• Supporting the adoption of rule-compliant, safe, and responsible driving practices
• Strengthening abilities to avoid traffic hazards and factors that increase accident risk

The course includes:

• 2 hours of driving instruction with the driving school's car (urban and highway driving)
• 1 hour of night driving instruction using a simulator
• 1 hour of driving instruction on a skid pad with the driving school's car
• 4 hours of practical theory instruction in the Kvarken Traffic Safety Center’s safety hall (Theory instruction can also be completed online if necessary)
